Thomas M. Horan is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group where he practices in the area of bankruptcy and creditors' rights.
Mr. Horan was born in New York, New York. He graduated from Fordham University, College at Lincoln Center in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and from Fordham University, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, in 1992 with a Master of Arts degree. He earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, from St. John's University School of Law in 2004. At St. John's, Mr. Horan served as Executive Notes & Comments Editor, American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review, 2003-2004, and Staff Member, American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review, 2002-2003. He was awarded the West Group Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award, the American Bar Association/Bureau of National Affairs Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law, the CALI Award for Excellence in Internet Law, the CALI Award for Excellence in Environmental Law, the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Process, and was named to the Dean's List.
Mr. Horan is admitted to practice in Delaware, the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, and the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit. Mr. Horan is a member of the Executive Committee of the St. Thomas More Society, and serves as a Guardian Ad Litem through the Office of the Child Advocate for the Family Court of Delaware.
