Mary B. Matterer is a partner in Morris James' Intellectual Property Group with a concentration in litigating intellectual property rights. She has appeared in patent litigation encompassing technology from a wide variety of technologies, including the telecommunications, software, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, automobile and healthcare industries.
Ms. Matterer also focuses on complex insurance coverage litigation in addition to other commercial dispute resolution. She co-authored The Answer to: Complex Insurance Coverage Litigation in the State of Delaware.
After earning a Masters Degree in Linguistics from Ohio University, Ms. Matterer graduated from Widener University School of Law cum laude in 1988. She served as a law clerk for The Honorable John E. Babiarz, Jr. of the Delaware Superior Court and served as chair of the International Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association.
