Raj Srivatsan is an associate in Morris James' Corporate and Fiduciary Litigation Group. He graduated with a J.D. (cum laude 2005) and LL.M. (Corporate laws and Finance 2001) from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. He was an active member of the Moot Court Honor Society at Widener. Mr. Srivatsan earlier earned a Bachelor of Law degree (B.L. 1997) from the Madras University specializing in insolvency and a Master's degree in Business and Corporate laws from India's prestigious National Law School, Bangalore, (M.B.L. 1998) ranking first out of over three-hundred candidates.

Mr. Srivatsan clerked as a Wolcott Fellow for the Honorable Justice Henry duPont Ridgely of the Delaware Supreme Court in 2004-2005 and is admitted to practice in New York (2003) and India (1997). Mr. Srivatsan has also handled pro bono litigation for indigent clients in Delaware's Family Courts through the Delaware Civil Clinic.

Prior to his entry into the legal field, Mr. Srivatsan graduated with an M.B.A. with honors (Finance and Marketing, 1992) from the Loyola College of Business Administration, India and a B.S. degree in Physics from the Madras University.

He advised the Government of Bangalore, India, on the strategic, legal and management perspectives of a $ 2.5 billion infrastructure Build-Own-Operate-Transfer ("BOOT") elevated light rail transit system project in 1997 working alongside British and Indian law firms.

Mr. Srivatsan worked for several years as a management consultant turning around poorly performing small business units and techno-marketed turnkey engineering instrumentation projects to the oil and natural gas, chemical, steel, cement and mineral industries. He additionally enjoyed several years of varied international industrial experience in the U.K., Middle East and India, including marketing of conference-container shipping, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, consumer engineering and an English newspaper. On invitation, Mr. Srivatsan taught corporate governance law and integrated management at India's premier institutions as a visiting faculty (1997-1999).
