Kathleen "Kitty" Dickerson

Kitty Dickerson is an attorney in the firm's Employment Law and Education practice. Her practice includes representing management in labor and employment disputes, supporting Delaware schools in their legal needs, and aggressively advocating for the interests of firm clients.

Kitty's diverse legal comprehension includes 19 years of notable experience while working for the Delaware Department of Justice’s Kent County Criminal Division. She served her last 8 years at the Department as Unit Head of the Special Victims Unit, coordinating the investigation of and prosecuting child death, felony child abuse, and sexual assault cases.  She represented the Department on the Delaware Child Protection Accountability Commission Legislative Committee, the Advisory Board of the Children’s Advocacy Center, and Bayhealth’s Child Advocacy Committee.  Prior to this assignment, she held the roles of Unit Head Misdemeanor Trial Unit, Assistant Unit Head for the Felony Trial Unit, and Kent County’s only Vehicular Homicide/Fatalities Prosecutor.  While at the Department of Justice, Kitty prosecuted numerous homicides, and drug cases, including the county’s first wiretap case, arsons, financial crimes, domestic violence, assaults, DUIs, and thefts.
