Phillip M. Casale is an attorney with the Morris James medical negligence group and focuses his practice on representing injured persons in medical malpractice and negligence suits.
An experienced litigator, Phil began his career at the Delaware Department of Justice working as a deputy attorney general in the criminal division where he successfully advocated on behalf of victims of violent crime in Delaware for many years. Phil tried numerous cases to verdict and gained invaluable experience before juries. In 2020, Phil joined Morris James to work with the firm’s expanding medical negligence group and defended various healthcare providers in high-stakes litigation, including claims of wrongful death, birth injuries, surgical errors, and other serious medical issues.
With these experiences, Phil is well-suited to advocate for justice on behalf of his clients who have been injured through the medical negligence of others. Knowing from his work as a deputy attorney general how a tragic event like a catastrophic injury can impact someone, Phil takes a client-focused approach and addresses the unique issues facing each of his clients. He has seen the methods used by healthcare providers and insurance companies to deny just compensation to injured parties, and Phil fights for his clients tirelessly to make sure that they receive the compensation that they deserve.
