News & Events

Mike is a civil litigation attorney whose practice focuses on all areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation.  Mike has a wide array of experience handling matters through all stages of litigation including trial before Delaware’s state courts and hearings before Delaware’s Industrial Accident Board.  Mike has been selected by his peers as an arbitrator in personal injury matters.  Mike is the current treasurer for the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and the Randy J. Holland Delaware Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court.

Mike graduated from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he was Managing Editor of the School’s Journal of Practical and Clinical Law.  While in Law School Mike was a member of the Schools Moot Court team that competed nationally.

Prior to joining Morris James, Mike worked for Congressman Michael N. Castle (R-DE) as Deputy Campaign Manager (2004) and later as a constituent advocate before attending law school.  While in law school, Mike clerked for the State of Delaware Attorney General’s Office handling criminal matters.  Following law school, Mike worked for an insurance defense law firm defending personal injury and workers’ compensation claims on behalf of a national insurance company in both Delaware and New Jersey.  Working for insurance companies has provided Mike valuable insight regarding the tactics insurance companies use when helping injured individuals.
