Jessica has significant experience in the bankruptcy and litigation process and assists in all phases of a case.

She has specific knowledge of Delaware Bankruptcy Court rules and e-filing procedures utilizing PACER. With more than ten years of experience supporting attorneys in complex bankruptcy matters and a thorough understanding of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, Jessica supports attorneys in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 filings, managing cases in multiple nationwide jurisdictions from commencement through confirmation.

Jessica assists attorneys in preparing and filing first day motions, retention and fee applications, claims objections, proofs of claim, plan-related documents, and adversary proceeding filings. She works closely with all parties involved in bankruptcy proceedings to help manage complex restructuring matters efficiently.

Before joining Morris James, Jessica earned her Paralegal Certificate, with a concentration in Corporate Law, from Widener University Law Center’s Legal Education Institute and received her B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware. She is a member of Lambda Epsilon Chi, the national paralegal honor society.
