Sophie Douglas Joins the Morris James Government Relations Team in Wilmington

Morris James is pleased to announce that Sophie Douglas has joined the firm as a Government Relations Advisor, enhancing the capabilities of our Legislative and Government Relations practice.

Sophie will advise clients navigating Delaware’s regulatory and public policy landscape to advance strategic objectives. Drawing on her experience in government and community-based advocacy, she will evaluate policy proposals, track pending legislation, and engage on key public policy issues affecting clients across industries. She will also coordinate outreach with key stakeholders and provide support for grant writing and procurement initiatives.

Sophie will work closely with clients to develop and implement comprehensive advocacy and government relations strategies, helping them stay informed and proactive in a rapidly evolving policy environment. She will also partner with clients to engage with Delaware’s federal Congressional delegation when appropriate.

Sophie’s diverse governmental experience will enhance our ability to employ strong and effective client advocacy at all levels of government in Delaware.
