Morris James is proud to announce that Vincent J. Cannizzaro III will begin a term on the Delaware State Bar Association (DSBA) Corporation Law Council effective July 1, 2026. Vince will join Tyler O'Connell, who has served on the Council since July 1, 2022. Each year, the Council recommends amendments to the Delaware General Corporation Law and other laws governing business organizations to the Delaware General Assembly. The Council’s work focuses on keeping Delaware’s business laws on the cutting edge and reinforcing Delaware’s position as the leading jurisdiction for incorporation among public and private companies alike, whether they are Fortune 500 corporations or small businesses.
Vince chairs the Firm's Mergers & Acquisitions (Corporate/M&A) practice and is an adjunct professor of Mergers and Acquisitions at Villanova University's Charles Widger School of Law. An experienced corporate attorney, he counsels international and domestic clients on all aspects of Delaware corporate and alternative-entity law, including in connection with the sale and acquisitions of businesses and companies, corporate governance, and fiduciary duties.
