Jennifer R. Lucas-Ross

Director of Attorney Recruiting and Professional Development

Overview

Jennifer Lucas-Ross is the Director of Attorney Recruiting and Professional Development. Her role plays an integral part in the onboarding and retention of new legal talent. She oversees the development and implementation of legal talent, retention, and professional development programs for the firm by working closely with firm leaders, practice group leaders, and the recruiting partner to strategically identify needs for current and future legal talent.

Jennifer has more than two decades of management experience and over a decade of legal experience. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and previously served as an attorney representing clients on matters of civil rights, contract law, and family law. She also served as In House Counsel for a regional insurance company.

Jennifer has served as an Associate Dean of Professional Development at a private law school, where she counseled students and alumni on issues including job search strategies, lifelong learning, professionalism, and work-life balance. She has also served as an Adjunct Faculty member and Advisor for paralegal studies students, developing programs to support campus and online students. Jennifer has presented to attorneys and law students on topics such as embracing vulnerability in the practice of law, networking, and the development of competencies necessary to practice law.

Jennifer is dedicated to serving the needs of her community and has volunteered her time on several non-profit boards and professional committees.
