Morris James continues to expand its litigation department by adding associates Connor K. Judge and Zachary A. Collins, bringing experience in corporate litigation, appellate practice, insurance defense, and civil litigation to the firm's growing roster of lawyers.

Their arrival builds on a year of strategic hiring across Morris James's practices, reflecting continued investment in experienced legal talent and the depth of services available to clients throughout Delaware.

"We've been intentional about growing our litigation department with lawyers who bring substantive experience and can make an immediate contribution to our clients and our practice," said Albert H. Manwaring IV, Chair of the firm's Litigation Department. "Connor and Zac each bring valuable perspectives shaped by their work in Delaware's courts. Their addition strengthens the depth of our department and positions us well as our litigation practice continues to grow."

Connor K. Judge joins the firm's Corporate and Commercial Litigation practice, focusing on disputes involving Delaware corporations and other business entities. Before joining Morris James, Connor served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Collins J. Seitz Jr. of the Delaware Supreme Court. He previously practiced at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Wilmington, where he worked on corporate litigation before Delaware courts and advised on litigation risks associated with business transactions. Connor earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University.

Zachary A. Collins joins the firm's Labor & Employment and Education Law practices, bringing litigation experience from his service as a Deputy Attorney General with the Delaware Department of Justice. In that role, Zac represented governmental entities and public employees in civil litigation, including matters involving public school districts, liability claims, and insurance disputes. His experience advising public-sector clients, defending institutional interests, and navigating litigation involving government agencies provides a strong foundation for his work representing employers and educational institutions. Zac earned his J.D., cum laude, from Widener University Delaware Law School, where he served as a Senior Staff Editor of the Widener Law Review, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware.

The additions are part of a broader period of recruitment and growth at Morris James, which has welcomed attorneys across multiple practice areas throughout 2026.

"As we continue to grow, we're looking beyond credentials and experience to the qualities that make someone a strong addition to Morris James," said Jennifer Lucas-Ross, Director of Attorney Recruiting and Professional Development. "Connor and Zac bring established experience and perspectives that will benefit their colleagues and the firm's clients. Just as importantly, they share our commitment to collaboration, integrity, and mutual respect. We're building a roster of lawyers who not only contribute individually, but make the entire firm stronger."

With these additions, Morris James continues to invest in the experience, capabilities, and professional relationships that support its litigation practice and long-term growth.
