Sam is an Associate in the bankruptcy and restructuring practice.

She represents debtors, creditors’ committees, individual creditors, plan administrators, liquidating trustees, and other interested parties in complex Chapter 11 cases and related adversarial proceedings.  Prior to joining Morris James, she developed and enhanced her research and writing skills as a judicial intern for the Hon. Mark S. Coven of the Quincy District Court and as a legal intern for Claro Enterprise Solutions.

While pursuing her J.D., Sam served as Associate Editor for the Northeastern University Law Review, co-chair for the University’s Business Law Society, as well as an intern for the Community Business Clinic. Sam was an active member of the Latin American Law Students Association while also serving as a research and teaching assistant. Sam received her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy in 2021 from Colgate University, graduating magna cum laude while also volunteering for the Upstate Institute Consumer Bankruptcy Law Project.
