At Morris James, we are proud to support Habitat for Humanity's transformative mission. On May 19, 2025, our Wilmington office served as the settlement table for three first-time homebuyers as they closed on their new properties through Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County's life-changing Homeownership Program. These settlements were only made possible through community partnerships, volunteerism, and dedication.

Transactional Real Estate attorney Katelyn Crawford and Real Estate Paralegal Kelly Saul provided pro bono legal assistance with these transactions, offering counsel that ensured a seamless and celebratory experience.

We were honored to be joined by Habitat for Humanity NCC leadership, whose tireless efforts make days like this possible. Each homeowner was recognized with a small token of our congratulations and a commemorative photo to celebrate this new chapter in their lives.

Morris James is deeply committed to community-focused initiatives and affordable housing advocacy. Our pro bono work allows us to serve as a trusted partner in the Delaware communities where it matters most.
