Overview
Chris Componovo is a civil litigation attorney with more than 26 years of experience handling cases for clients involved in personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. Chris has the knowledge needed to efficiently advocate for his clients. He provides innovative legal strategies and tactics to recover maximum compensation for his clients who are hurt or injured by the negligence of others or companies.
Prior to joining Morris James, Chris focused his practice on representing individuals in Lemon Law, breach of warranty claims, personal injury and worker's compensations matters. He gained valuable legal experience managing all aspects of personal injury and workers' compensations matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, general negligence, and medical malpractice. Chris successfully tried Lemon Law cases to verdict within the Maryland Circuit Court and argued before the Delaware Supreme Court and Maryland Court of Special Appeals. He served as local counsel in Federal Court for Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) cases where he provided legal representation in court hearings.
Chris is admitted to practice in Delaware, Maryland, Colorado, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. He has been honored by his peers and recognized by Delaware Today Magazine as a “Top Lawyer” in Consumer Law from 2016-2020. He is also a past President of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and past Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Delaware State Bar Association.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he earned his Varsity monogram as a member of the Track and Field team.
