Morris James is pleased to announce the addition of Alyssa Kelly as an Associate in the firm's preeminent Family Law practice. Alyssa will concentrate her practice on all aspects of domestic relations matters, including divorce proceedings, division of marital property, alimony, child custody and visitation, child support, guardianship of children, and adoptions.

"Alyssa has substantial experience in family law and will be a huge asset to our busy team, enabling us to offer our superior services to more clients."
Prior to joining Morris James, Alyssa served as a family law attorney in New Castle County. During that time, Alyssa honed her knowledge of the law as it relates to Delaware Family Court proceedings and offered legal representation to clients in a wide range of domestic relations matters. In that role, Alyssa learned that the legal process can be overwhelming, confusing, and even frightening for her clients who are faced with uncertainty in their most vulnerable time. By focusing on her clients' unique needs, Alyssa provides strong and supportive advocacy to guide them through every step of the Family Court process, assist them in achieving desirable outcomes, and move confidently into the next phase of their lives.
Alyssa obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from Widener University Delaware Law School, Magna Cum Laude, in 2018 and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Delaware in 2015. During her time in law school, Alyssa served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Paul R. Wallace of the Delaware Superior Court. After law school, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Andrea L. Rocanelli of the Delaware Superior Court.
