Technical.ly Reports on Kim Hoffman's TedX Talk on Delaware NIMBY Culture

August 30, 2016

Technical.ly Delaware reported on Morris James attorney Kim Hoffman’s TedX talk on creating a Delaware culture of Yes In My Back Yard on August 25, 2016 in an article titled “9 lessons from this year’s TEDxWilmington: Here are the ‘ideas worth spreading” that stuck with us from Wednesday’s event.”

Technical.ly Delaware is an organization that grows local technology communities by connecting organizations and people through news, events and services.  Their takeaway from Ms. Hoffman's talk was how NIMBY (not in my backyard) culture eats jobs, tax revenue and housing and that people should be more open-minded and adopt a YIMBY (yes in my back yard) culture regarding development proposals where the use complies with zoning and public safety laws.
