Partner Mike Owen discussed the latest healthcare trends at the Delaware State Bar Association's Workers’ Compensation program on May 4, 2021. The panel offered an overview of current medical treatments including ketamine infusions, medical marijuana, and stem cell injections. The Workers' Compensation section of the Delaware State Bar Association co-sponsored the program with The Industrial Accident Board.
The program included updates from the Industrial Accident Board and addressed topics such as novel issues of scope and course, idiosyncratic idiopathic issues, COVID-19, and other occupational diseases.
The Delaware State Bar Association is marked by evolving efforts to promote ethical conduct by lawyers, to require and offer high quality continuing legal education, to protect the public from the unauthorized practice of law, to review and make recommendations regarding Delaware’s court system and to foster the mentoring of new lawyers.
