(Wilmington, DE, June 14, 2013) – Morris James LLP is pleased to announce that attorney James J. Gallagher, II has been elected Chair of the Tax Section of the Delaware State Bar Association. Previously he served as Vice Chair and Secretary of the Section.
Mr. Gallagher is an attorney in the firm’s Tax, Estates and Business Practice Department. He maintains a comprehensive business, tax and estate planning practice including drafting and negotiating transactional and commercial documents, preparing estate planning documents, and advising clients on business formation and operation, tax minimization, asset protection, and wealth preservation.
Mr. Gallagher joined Morris James in 2011. He was awarded an LL.M. degree from Villanova University School of Law in 2010 and received his J.D. in 2004 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he was an Associate Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. He graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University in 1998.
