Morris James LLP is pleased to announce James J. Gallagher has joined the firm as an associate in the Tax, Estates and Business Practice as of January 3, 2011. Mr. Gallagher focuses his practice on various business, tax, and transactional matters, including tax planning; preparation of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents; trust reformation and relocation to a Delaware situs; preparation of formation documents and operating agreements for small business entities, both corporations and alternative entities; and preparation, review, and negotiation of documents for asset and stock transactions and commercial contracts.
Mr. Gallagher was awarded an LL.M. degree from Villanova University School of Law in 2010 and received his Juris Doctor in 2004 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he was an Associate Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. He graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University in 1998. Mr. Gallagher is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, the Business Law and Taxation Section of the American Bar Association, and the Wilmington Tax Group.
