Morris James was pleased to sponsor the 26th annual Delaware Tech Gala fundraiser held on Saturday, April 30th at the Owens Campus in Georgetown, DE. The goal of the event is to raise funds to enhance Delaware Tech's ability to provide educational excellence. Created as the Wildlife Expo and Art Show in 1995, the annual Starry Starry Night Gala is one of many premier events in Sussex County.
Proceeds from this year’s Gala will not only support the purchase of high-tech classroom equipment that provides hands-on learning opportunities for students, but will also increase scholarship opportunities for workforce training certificate programs that will help prepare students for high demand jobs. Scholarships will focus on short-term programs in allied health and technical/trades training. Certificates may include, but not limited to advanced manufacturing, HVAC, general maintenance, dental assistant, kitchen and food safety, phlebotomy technician, and pharmacy technician.
