Morris James proudly supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware by participating in the 2021 helicopter ball drop. The fundraising event will take place at the H. Fletcher Brown Boys & Girls Club on December 10. All proceeds from the tickets will go towards the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wilmington.
The fundraising raffle is a contest in which tickets are sold to supporters. Five hundred golf balls are dropped from a helicopter over a golf hole set up at the H. Fletcher Brown Club. The golf ball that lands closest to the tee wins the $4,500 prize. In the event, there are multiple balls that land in or with the same measurements closest to the designated hole, the prize will be split equally.
For 86 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware have impacted thousands of lives across Delaware. It is the largest licensed provider of childcare in Delaware and the only statewide Boys & Girls Club in the nation. Several Morris James attorneys have leadership roles on the Boys and Girls Clubs: Lewis Lazarus serves on the statewide Board and its Executive Committee; Tyler O’Connell serves on the Board of Trustees; Mike Owen is a member of the Board of Trustees and chair of the Wilmington Unit Board.
