Delaware Supreme Court Appoints Lewis H. Lazarus to Co-Chair Access to Justice Commission

The Delaware Supreme Court announced on September 18, 2017 that Lewis H. Lazarus will co-chair the Court's Access to Justice Commission.  The Court established the Commission in 2014 "to identify the critical needs related to access to justice in Delaware and to develop realistic and cost effective solutions to meet those needs." Lewis will serve in these  leadership roles for two-year terms. 

Lewis H. Lazarus is a Partner at Morris James LLP and Chair of the Corporate and Commercial Litigation Group. He focuses his practice on corporate governance and commercial matters in the Delaware Court of Chancery. He has been lead counsel in trials arising out of mergers and acquisitions, including cases involving the entire fairness standard of review, appraisal, books and records actions, actions to compel annual meetings, and actions to determine who rightfully are the managers of a Delaware entities.
