Tyler O’Connell began a term on the Delaware State Bar Association’s Corporation Law Council effective July 1, 2022. Tyler joins Lewis Lazarus who was re-elected to serve on the Council effective July 1, 2022. The Council annually recommends to Delaware's General Assembly amendments to the Delaware General Corporation Law and other statutes governing business organizations. The Council's work is devoted to keeping Delaware's laws current and maintaining Delaware as the corporate domicile of choice for Fortune 500 and public companies as well as small businesses.
Tyler is a partner in the Corporate and Commercial Litigation Group. His practice focuses on the representation of companies, members of management and investors in business disputes in complex fiduciary, corporate and commercial disputes in the Delaware Court of Chancery, the Delaware Superior Court, and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
