Morris James is excited to announce the key leadership positions of partners Albert Carroll and Brya Keilson within their respective practice groups.

  • Albert focuses his practice on litigation involving corporations and alternative entities formed under Delaware law. As a litigator, he represents and guides clients through fiduciary duty claims, contract disputes, M&A challenges, and summary proceedings under Delaware's business statutes in the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware Supreme Court. Albert also represents clients in business litigation in Delaware federal court.

Brya Keilson | AttorneyBrya Keilson: Bankruptcy and Restructuring Vice Chair

  •  Brya counsels clients on commercial bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency matters. She represents Chapter 11 debtors, insurers in all facets of bankruptcy-related issues, creditors' committees, liquidating trustees, trade creditors, and financial institutions, purchasers of assets, and both plaintiffs and defendants in numerous avoidance actions, including preference and fraudulent transfer actions.

"Brya has a deep understanding of all facets of bankruptcy law. Her legal knowledge, coupled with almost twenty years of experience practicing in Delaware, makes her an invaluable part of our team. She brings a unique perspective, having worked at the US Trustee's Office in Delaware as well as in private practice.
